Knife Dreams aka Knyphy came to Los Angeles from North Carolina’s “Runnin’ Deep” dubstep crew and has been an early and often contributor to SMOG and the community around it. With a wide variety of influences from UK garage and new wave to metal and post-punk, this producer’s eclectic sound is a fat match for the wide diversity of the LA community. You can often catch Knyphy on SMOG Radio on SubFM every fourth Sunday of the month from 3-5PM, or find the stabbing sounds of this dubstep head hyphing up SMOG parties and underground events all over Southern California.
